Changes has come to MARINA since the new admin sit. Admin Amaro promised to clean MARINA and solve concerning problems of many seafarers. He even had a Facebook page (Isumbong kay Administrator Amaro) to directly hear seafarers' problems and concerns.

He began with ending the selling of overpriced Documentary Stamp of Marina Employees Cooperative (MEC) and stopping the renting service of dirty uniforms (but later on returned).

While there have been changes to benefit the seafarers, there are some feels violently about it.
According to some Facebook users, there are MARINA employees set to have rally on Monday against the current Administrator. Whatever their reason to rally is, we think it is inappropriate because we think Mr. Amaro is a very good choice for the position. He is a seafarer and experienced first hand every circumstances a normal seafarer undergo.
So with the initiative of Engr. Ramirez, He personally gets permit from the Manila Mayor's Office to have an organized and peaceful rally that aims to support the current MARINA Administrator Marcial Amaro.

Where: Assembly at LUSWELF T.M. Kalaw starts 0700 H and will be marching to MARINA at around 0900 H
Agenda: To support the new MARINA administrator
Along with this, we think it is also the perfect time to express ourselves about other current issues on MARINA like the controversial OIC Updating Training Part A & B, New MLC Course, Updating MLC, and etc.
